Benny is President of Ko Ho Group, Oxford’s Joint-Venture partner in China. Ko Ho Group is an
investment and management company, specializing in company merger and acquisition, management
and marketing services in Asia Pacific with a focus in Hong Kong and China. Benny manages Oxford’s
initiatives with banks and other financial institutions, our processing centers, technology partnerships,
and our other activities throughout South-East Asia. Oxford has benefited tremendously from Benny’s
knowledge, experience, and relationships.
Benny is well known in the Asian payments industry for his expertise in both credit card and electronic
payment systems. He was responsible for establishing the MasterCard brand in the Asian region and
has served as a Director of Operations in the Asia-Pacific region for American Express, and as the
President of Western Union Financial Services Asia region, where he helped expand the company’s
services into China, with the China Post Office, and other Asian countries.
While working as a senior executive for MasterCard, Benny assisted many financial institutions in the
Asia-Pacific region in developing their operations, including working on the first credit card in China, the
famous “Great Wall” MasterCard issued by the Bank of China. Subsequently as President of MBF Card
International, Benny set up card centers in HK, PNG, Fiji, Vietnam and Myanmar and local joint
ventures in Taiwan, Thailand and other S.E. Asian countries.
In the electronic payment area, Benny co-founded Interpay International Group Ltd, a shareholder and
management company of iSynergy Card (a member of MasterCard International) the largest loyalty
card issuer in Malaysia. Benny was also President of Asia Payment Systems Inc. where he set up a
wholly-owned foreign enterprise in Shanghai and a subsidiary in Singapore.
